About the Course..
Introduction to Hand Therapy, was a one day course that provided therapists the basic knowledge and skills to perform a complete evaluation of objective findings of the wrist and hand. It allowed the attendees to recognize and understand common hand and wrist disorders and injuries. This course provided current evidence based treatment strategies to restore functional use of the affected extremity.

Robert Wilutis, MS, OTR, CHT
Robert Wilutis is a NYS licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) and a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), specializing in the treatment of traumatic injuries of the hand and upper extremity. He is an industry expert in custom splint fabrication of the upper extremity, including static progressive and dynamic mobilization bracing. He is a graduate of Providence College and Columbia University, where he earned a Master of Science degree from the school of Occupational and Physical Therapy. Robert completed his post graduate hand therapy clinical work at the Department of Hand Therapy at Mount Sinai /New York University Hospital. Robert has 20 years of private practice experience in the field of hand therapy. In 2016 Robert joined Professional PT as a partner and the Director of Occupational and Hand Therapy. Robert is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT).
