ABOUT THE EVENT:
OVERVIEW
The goals of this course are to educate the attendees on the current concepts in treating patients with shoulder pain. The lecture will include etiology of shoulder pain, different types if impingement, non operative treatment and keys to success such as evaluating and addressing the scapula, rotator cuff and posterior shoulder extensibility. A lab session will follow this lecture where we will practice these techniques.
OBJECTIVES
Review current trends in rotator cuff strengthening
Review current literature on rotator cuff pathology
Review and perform current manual skills on management of the shoulder pain
