2. The participant should be able to identify and recognize risk factors for ACL retears in kids and adolescents.

3. The participant should be able to describe different types of ACL reconstructions used in skeletally immature patients.

4. Identify the pros & cons of adding a lateral extra-articular tenodesis to an ACL reconstruction.

SPEAKER BIO:

Dr. Elise C. Bixby, MD is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon based in New York, New York. She earned her medical degree from the prestigious Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. With 6 to 10 years of experience in the field, Dr. Bixby has developed a robust expertise in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the muscles, bones, and joints.

Dr. Bixby specializes in orthopedic sports medicine and pediatric orthopedics, offering comprehensive care for sports injuries, degenerative diseases, tumors, infections, and congenital conditions.
